Rain threatened to hamper the 10 anglers that turned up for round two on lake 2, and even though thick cloud built up in the latter stages of the match, the match still finished on the 9pm schedule.

The title for evening league winner was still wide open with another angler turning up the heat!!

Kev Farrow from Shefford quietly slipped 6lb 7oz of fish into his net much to the surprise of the rest of the gang.Maggot and pellet was the favoured hookbait for Kevin and these were presented by a short pole setup with a few loose bits to temp the fish into peg 9.

Last years league winner Trevor Dear took second place from peg 4. His net of silvers weighed in at 5lb 3oz and his tactics were maggot and pellets up in the water from a short pole out in front of him.

Letchworth angler Rich Goodwin grabbed third place with 4lb 7oz from peg 1. Rich used a short pole with corn or maggot on the hook with a few freebies to temp the fish in.
